DOOOoooOOOM

My very first photoshop drawing! I'm loving my Wacom Bamboo tablet. It is opening my eyes wiiiide and am excited about the potential it unlocks. It's dope to be able to lay down color instantly and see what's working and what isn't. I am so late to the party but it's cool. Just have to party three times as hard and catch up. 

*Crosses fingers for Doom 4 in the near future.*

The Indomitable Ocelot!

YO, sorry I haven't updated in a whole month! 

That is just the wackness. Here is a jumbo sized update to feast upon though. I went with an Ocelot theme here because Ocelot is very near and dear to mine heart. Things on the horizon are looking pretty fucking cool for the band. Russell and I got offered a chance to clean up and develop a venue for our friend Matt (who is consequently both our landlord and the guy who recorded our very awesome album). It is in South San Francisco and I think has amazing potential to be an awesome venue for music and perhaps just chilling in general. We've decided to put a lot of time into making it great and we're excited...

Back to art though! Onward.

I drew this with the intent of the design going on the front of my Fender DeVille. I still want to do it. I think it would look dope. Just have to make a stencil...

For this I just wanted to draw some hot soldier ladies fighting in a somewhat adorable way. I like the way it turned out. I think the lined paper gives a funny effect too.

And finally, a suite of designs for "The Ocelot". I just thought it would be funny to design a character based on the name. His powerset would seem to inevitably be just like Marvel's the Black Panther. He would be a good tracker. In that second pic he spots footsteps ;^)

Oh yeah, and I got an awesome Wacom Bamboo tablet so expect to see some digital wonders soon.

Concept Album

Here are some I did for a concept I was mulling over. In this world most animals that were once small relative to our real world are now much larger than humans. The humans mount the glorious creatures and have amazing adventures. 

Obviously this dude's steed missed the large party. But check out the girth on that serpent!

Large size kitty mount read for deployment. And I'm just SURE I am the first to draw that gnarly lightning shaped sword. So sick.

One day I'll probably develop this idea more but I'm starting to draw a book based on my friends idea. I'll post some of those drawings when the time is right.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Aliens!!!

Apologeez for the lack of post in the last few weeks. I am just SO embarrassed.

I got my front tooth extracted last thursday and have been in a quasi stupor induced by vicodin and homemade "eddies", a birthday gift from my brother Dunc.

Hope you are weller than I.

So if you haven't heard Mike Bay uber producer is working on the next TMNT film due next year. In his turtles film they are not turtles at all but aliens that look like turtles. Or something. I did this drawing last summer.

Here's a little sketch I did of the prince of snakes (do they even call him that?) as well as a bored king. I drew him with a Tombow brush marker.

One of my most favorite ladies in the Marvel uni Miss Betsy Braddock.
